Really love this hotel. Location is very convenient , right off the highway 1 and about 2 - 3 km from Banff city center. Located in a quiet , secluded area, in the woods. Has plenty of parking space. This hotel has great open patio where you can see sunrises and sunsets, and enjoy glass of wine and / or dinner. Restaurant in this hotel is very good, has good selection on the menu and very tasty and delicious dishes , and desserts, and friendly waitresses. Staff is Very Friendly and helpful, Especially font desk host - Emre. Really appreciate his help with every question. Rooms are simple but spacious , beds are big and comfortable. Also, as a note, there are good hiking trails right by this hotel and for safety hotels provides bear spray for you. I definitely recommend it for the stay near Banff.

I have stayed at the Juniper before, and this time I requested a specific location as my husband is a light sleeper. They were able to accommodate our requests. It's peaceful and serene, the ultimate Banff hidden gem but best if you have a car as it's on the opposite side of the Trans Canada highway. The rooms are starting to feel a little dated but they are clean and in good condition with a nice selection of coffee and local teas. The bistro is amazing, we often drive here from Calgary just for dinner. The Bistro staff are wonderful and there is a romantic vibe. Cocktails are incredible. Great patio in the summer and even in winter as they have firepits. This time, the outdoor hot tub was open and the views are spectacular. Remember to bring flip flops as they are not provided.

Our stay at The Juniper Hotel & Bistro was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking mountain views that surround the hotel. Waking up to such a stunning landscape was an experience in itself! One of the absolute highlights was the outdoor jacuzzi—soaking in warm, bubbling water while admiring the panoramic view of the mountains was pure magic. It’s the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. The Bistro at The Juniper was another standout feature. The food was exceptional, and we were particularly impressed by their 5-course tasting menu for just $55 CAD (or $90 CAD with perfectly paired alcoholic beverages). Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor—a true culinary delight!

Juniper Hotel made our first wedding anniversary very special! First of all Emre was very welcoming he upgraded our booking to a King Valley Suite, he made sure we are aware of all amenities and facilities in the hotel and bistro. Kerim was kind enough to drive us to downtown and back, great and chill man. Finally we had a great laugh with Judson who also took great care of us during our two night stay. The suite was clean, spacious and the Jacuzzi in the bathroom was amazing! We have no comments on our stay, will definitely come back next spring! Thanks a lot Juniper Hotel.

We loved the excellent service at the front desk. New staff even! I love more formality and the service in the dining room didn't disappoint. We had lunched here on a previous trip so knew we wanted to stay some time in the future. We loved the ambience in the dining lounge, the fireplace and the view of Banff in the distance. We're plant based and hands down the menu has some of the best V options we you'll find in Banff. Appreciated the french press for coffee in our room over the usual machines. Love the vintage vibe.
