We loved staying at the Juniper! The hotel was convenient, secluded and quiet with only a 5 minute drive from the action of downtown Banff. We had a 1st floor room with a small walkout patio. The room had a full wall of windows so every morning we awoke to seeing the beautiful mountains. Our bed and pillows were super comfy and we slept great! The room also had a mini fridge so that our water and beverages stayed cold for our mountain hikes. I'm an avid gardener so naturally I enjoyed seeing the Rocky Mountain wildflower gardens all around the property. On our final night we ate dinner at the Juniper Bistro. Our meal was awesome!

The quietness, the fact it's away from all the other hotels, and the congestion you normally hear and get from downtown Banff. The food was delicious and highly recommended by the staff. The hotel and its staff were friendly, informative, and helpful. Stayed here before and was looking forward to coming back. I had a king-size bedroom. Found this room much bigger than my last stay at this hotel. Didn't care much for the scenery, I'm easygoing, and as long as I'm comfortable in bed, I'm all good! There were children on the same floor and I didn't hear much!

We stayed at the Juniper Hotel for our wedding! Staff was amazing to communicate with and they were so kind. There was a fridge to store my bouquet due to having an early morning ceremony. The room we stayed in was clean and nice! The entry into the room was a bit slanted/awkward, but other than that the view was absolutely stunning and the chairs outside of the room was stellar. Tons of gorgeous natural light was wonderful. Facility was clean and excellent. The Bistro was AMAZING. We ate there twice and they were absolutely wonderful!

Staff was friendly, attentive, decor authentic to very well maintained classic build, elevated over the Bow River Valley. Respectful of the heritage of this 11,000 year old meeting place. Sitting areas in the back with a hammock over looking the Valley, outdoor and amazing indoor windowed dining, grounds appointed with native plantings. Chef Sergio and bartender/waiter James were outstanding. Everything at the Bistro was delicious.

The location was great, just up a small hill overlooking Banff. Easy access by car to the rest of the National park. The food at the restaurant was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend booking a Mountain View room, as although it was a bit extra, the view from the window and outside seating area were more than worth it. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but rather popped into town each morning to the nearby Tim Hortons.
